Hot-club cut, sharpened easings, scanlines. Screen-blend stacks, lighter blends. Cuts on the beat, not after it. For: synthwave, club, anything that needs to look like a sign at 2am.
Film
Handheld warm tone, per-pixel grain, soft vignette, slow drift. Smooth easings on every transition. For: folk, soul, anything that needs to look like a memory of a memory.
Grid
Six layers split into 2×2 + half-cells, snap to the beat. Binary easings — no in-between, only on or off. For: techno, industrial, anything that needs to look like a strobe hitting a wall.
Smoke
Everything at 0.5 opacity, slow drift, blurry and slow. The song moves through fog. For: ambient, drone, slowcore, anything that should feel like a held breath.
Hallucination
Every reactor maxed. RGB channel shift, lighter and difference blends, noise canvas overlay. The video looks like it remembers a bad trip. For: psych, noise, anything that should feel unsafe.
Glitch
Data moshing, scanline tear, posterize, pixel sort. Sharp attacks, slight hang. Phosphor green on hot red. For: industrial, IDM, anything that feels like a corrupted video file.
Aurora
Flowing curtains, mirror symmetry, slow drift, soft radial blur. Pastel pink + mint + lavender. Smooth easings on every transition. For: ambient, downtempo, anything that should feel like a held breath in a quiet sky.
Pulse
Kick-driven expansion. Bass pumps the scale, beat hits the tunnel zoom. Concentric rings expand from screen centre on every kick. For: EDM, house, anything 4-on-the-floor.
Void
Minimal. 0.3 opacity. White/cyan particles fade to black. Slow fades into the dark. For: drone, doom, anything that should feel like a held breath into a void.
Chrome
Specular highlights, gold/silver/copper hue shift, micro-shimmer, snap easings. Contrast boosted to 1.8×. For: trap, jersey club, anything that should look like a chrome car commercial at 2am.
Watercolor
Organic, slow, paint-spreads feel. Rose, sage, powder blue pastels. 0.6 opacity. For: singer-songwriter, chamber pop, anything that should feel like a hand-painted storybook.
Fractal
Psychedelic, trippy, jewel tones on deep black. Fractal zoom, tunnel twist, ring spectrum, rainbow chromatic shift. Fast, trippy response. For: psytrance, progressive, anything that should feel like a Mandelbrot on a CRT.
Eclipse legacy
A pre-12-preset variant kept for continuity. The stage is pure black; a radial corona overlay breathes with the bass and blooms amber on every onset. Not part of the 12-preset spec — kept because people still use it. For: ambient, drone, sacred-geometry.
